Privacy Policy

Your project data stays on your computer

We take privacy extremely seriously. MarkerBuddy and MarkerBuddy Lite do not upload marker, media, transcript, or client-note data for processing. All processing of that data is 100% local and offline.

Your projects and their contents stay under your control. MarkerBuddy/Lite reads and writes the local files and Adobe Premiere project data you choose to use. It does not send those contents to Anywhere Entertainment, Inc. or a cloud processing service.

Local files, settings, and exports

Settings and workflow data are stored locally. Imports, exports, and optional integrations operate on your computer. You decide where to save exported files and whether to share them. If you choose a cloud-synced folder or use another application to upload a file, that service handles the file under its own policies.

Website visits, purchases, and support

This offline processing promise describes the MarkerBuddy/Lite software. Visiting this website, downloading software, purchasing through Adobe Marketplace, or contacting support involves online services.

The website host may receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages, and request times, to deliver and protect the site. The contact form sends the name, email address, topic, and message you provide through FormSubmit to our support inbox. We use support correspondence to respond to you and address your request. Please do not include confidential client information or project files unless you intend to share them with support.

Adobe Marketplace and other external services handle their own accounts, payments, downloads, and information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their operation is separate from local MarkerBuddy/Lite processing.

Questions and requests

For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to support, email support@markerbuddy.app. We will address applicable access, correction, or deletion requests, subject to any information we must retain for legal obligations or resolving a dispute. We cannot access or delete project data stored only on your computer.

Policy updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the software, website, or applicable requirements. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date.
